Zarif Munir is a partner and the managing director, Kuala Lumpur, of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He joined the consultancy ﬁrm in 1997, has worked on its South East Asia and Latin American systems and was posted to the Chicago ofﬁce.
Zarif is a core member of BCG’s industrial goods and operations practice area. He the industrial goods efforts in Malaysia and is an expert on post-merger integrations, turnarounds and organisational redesign. He has worked with companies in a wide range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, printing and healthcare.
Prior to BCG Zarif was employed in the audit group of Price Waterhouse Coopers focusing on ﬁnancial services and mid-size industrial goods companies.
Zarif holds a B.A in Finance and Accounting from Coe College (magna cum laude), and a Master of Management from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is also a qualiﬁed certiﬁed public accountant.
